Teesside University students are heading to India for a special trip

Students and staff from Teesside University are heading to India this month to build closer ties with the country.

Teesside University welcomes many international students, and is eager to offer experiences of the wider world to students studying at Teesside.

The University recently welcomed Dr Aman Puri, Consul General of India, ahead of an upcoming student and staff excursion to multiple universities and cities across India.

The students and staff from both production and journalism courses will be visiting universities across India throughout October and helping to build a partnership between the two countries.

Dr Puri said that he was very excited about this upcoming partnership and wished the students luck on their excursion.
