TEESSIDE UNIVERSITY CLIMBING CLUB TAKE ON EVEREST

On Sunday 31st of March, Teesside University Climbing Club climbed the height of Everest to raise money for charity.

23 students gave up their Mothers day to climb the University wall for six hours, ascending the panels over 1100 times.

In total, they raised £300 that, combined with other fundraisers across the world, will go direct to Cancer Research.

The feat took place as part of the Mountain March, a weekend event set up by Climbers against Cancer.
