LIAM NOBLE OFF HARTLEPOOL PENALTIES SAYS MANAGER CRAIG HIGNETT

Midfielder Liam Noble made his first appearance in four weeks following an injury lay-off, but blazed a second-half penalty at the Leyton Orient goalkeeper to deny Pools a win.

And Craig Hignett has said that he’s now been taken off them altogether.

Noble alluded to the fact that he’s already missed three spot-kicks this season, and it looks like youngster Josh Hawkes will be his successor.
