MONSTER HUNTER | A NEW HUNT – EMILY HARRISON

This project takes heavy inspiration from the game franchise ‘Monster Hunter’, mainly focusing on the latest title in the franchise ‘Monster Hunter: World’ (whilst still referencing earlier titles for design choices).

The aim of the project is to research the design pipeline used by Capcom in the creation of a character and a suitable armour-set as inspired by a monster.

I will be working to create a game-ready character model (based from my own concept art) with the expectation of using them in a cinematic showcase. This means that the character will be of a high-quality standard as expected from most AAA studios.

The project will prompt the development of the character art pipeline. Exploring a range of relevant industry techniques such as hair card creation using XGen.
