New crackdown on mobile phone use while driving.

Using your mobile phone for anything while driving will now be an offence

Students who drive to campus face a police crackdown if they shuffle their playlist on their mobile while in the car.

Using your phone while driving has been against the law in the UK since 2003.

However, there has always been a slight loophole that has allowed drivers to take photos and videos while driving.

But in the New Year it will now be an offence to use your your mobile to do anything while you are driving

And that include shuffling songs on your playlist.
