STUDENT WORK COMMISSIONED BY TEES VALLEY SPORT

FourĀ  Sports Journalism students have been selected by Tees Valley Sport to produce a set of promotional films after the success of their latest PR campaign.

Ash Brighton, Olly Burdett, Sam Fletcher and Adam Hassell recently submitted promotional videos for Tees Valley Sport’s Future Champions Programme as part of the assessment in a module on their BA(Hons) Sports Journalism degree.

Tees Valley Sports Development Officer, Nigel Hornsby, saidĀ  he was ‘really pleased’ with the films.

“We are pleased they have worked together to generate consistent branding throughout,” He said.

“They work really well as a short series.”

As well as the short films featured below, the four students have now been commissioned by Tees Valley Sport to produce another two promo videos for the organisation.

Course Leader Hannah McMahon said that she was ‘thrilled’ for the students.

“This module has challenged the students to produce their best PR work and so I’m delighted that their hard work has been recognised by Tees Valley Sport.”

“The videos they’ve made are of a professional standard and will look great on their CVs.

“I’m pleased to see that our students have got on board with the module and I’m excited to see what they’ll do next.”
