USING MACHINE LEARNING IN PERSONALISED CANCER TREATMENTS – KYLE SPENCE

I have developed a machine learning package in Python, built around Cox regression and neural networks. It is able to predict a given patient’s survival time using their treatment data as an input and is to be proposed to clinicians in order to improve the production of personalised cancer medicine.

Skills and technologies I have grown with during this project include Python, PyCharm, Google Colab, Keras, survival analysis, neural networks, research skills, gene-based knowledge, AGILE, machine learning and data science in general.
