Teesside funk quintet Moon Wax are performing a special show at the university’s Students’ Union this weekend.
The band will be performing their sweet iconic sounds in the Student’s Union from 7.30pm tomorrow – Saturday December 2.
And if that wasn’t enough; they’re also dropping their first vinyl at the show for you to take those beautiful noises home.
Moon Wax founders Billy and Robb told Tuxtra what to expect at the gig.
Rob said: “We have a sick night of music lined up. First on we have support from Courtney Dixon, who is one of the freshest new acts from the North East, an absolute class act to warm everyone up for our headline set which is absolutely gunna be something to witness.”
“Think pure funk with massive solos, huge three piece vocals, and a rhythm section so far in the pocket we’ll be finding euro’s from ya last holiday.
“We have guests joining us to spice up the set n’all so honestly get yourself down, have a bev and dance your woes away.”
