“THE DISRESPECT HE HAS SHOWN THE AREA AND THE CLUB IS ASTONISHING” – TONY PULIS ON MARTIN BRAITHWAITE

At the Middlesborough pre-match press conference at Rockcliffe this morning, Middlesbrough manager spoke to TUxtra about the recent criticism from Martin Braithwaite.

Braithwaite stated: “I’m not coming back to Middlesbrough. The project I was presented with in Middlesbrough changed completely when Pulis arrived.”

Middlesbrough manager, Pulis, retaliated at the conference this morning.

He said: “For someone who has taken so much out of this football club, and given so less back, for him to talk the way he has talk it is really disappointing.

“For a person who has on two occasions came out and said he has got his heart and soul in this football club, and then in 36 hours goes and sees the Chief Executive and asking him if he can leave. I think that shows what type of person Martin really is.”

Middlesbrough will face Norwich City on Saturday night at 5:30pm and will be live on Sky Sports.

Teesside University students Karis Noble and Callum Weller attended the conference.
