Rob Nichols, Editor of Fly Me to the Moon fanzine, has put together a new book full of stories and memories from Boro fans far and wide.

It comes at a time where supporters are missing the game most of all, with the Riverside’s doors having been closed for nine months already.

And with Middlesbrough set to enter Tier 3 when the national lockdown is lifted, fans will not be returning to the game as soon as they may have hoped.

‘My Boro Debut’ takes over 150 fans young and old back to their first ever match, ‘from Ayresome Park in 1947 to the Riverside in 2020’.

It also features stories from some famous Teesside faces including Mark Benton.

And it comes just in time for Christmas!

TUXtra reporter, Lauren Heslop, spoke to Rob about the new book.

‘My Boro Debut’ can be found in bookshops or online at https://6e.net/product/my-boro-debut/. The eBook is also available on Kindle.
