THE VINYL REVIVAL WITH SOUND IT OUT RECORDS

In recent years more and more people have been choosing to buy vinyl records.

Sales have skyrocketed, and vinyl is even set to out-sell CD’s for the first time since 1986.

However, with the convenience of streaming why do people still buy a physical copy?

Sound it Out Records is an independent record shop in Stockton on Tees, selling a vast collection of vinyl from indie and punk, to techno and hip-hop.

Records have made a massive comeback over recent years

Tuxtra’s Ellie Roper went to speak to the owner of Sound it Out, Tom Butchart, about how vinyl has made a comeback.
