TUXtra, alongside Ian McNeal the digital editor of Teesside Live, is offering one lucky journalism student the chance to take part in a one-week work placement at one of the North East’s biggest media outlets.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring journalism student and would be a great addition to any media CV.

While at Teesside Live you will get the chance to experience what it is like to work in a fast-paced, professional environment that will put you through your paces and give you a real taste of what it is like to work in the industry.

The Details

In order to take part in this competition, you must be a second or third-year student currently studying any Journalism degree at Teesside University.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is get at least one piece of content published here on TUXtra before the December 17

At the end of the competition, the names of every eligible student who has entered content into the competition will be put into a random name picker and the lucky winner will be announced.

To increase your chances make sure to get as much work submitted and published to TUXtra as you can before the deadline, as your name will be entered into the draw once for every piece of content you get published.

It really is that simple, we hope that you get involved and would like to wish you all the very best of luck.
