Read moreHello my name is Cameron, I am a motivated, adaptable, and responsible individual, with the ability to work efficiently and productively as part of a team or as an individual. I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills in the media and production world. After passing my GCSE’s I continued my studies with English Martyrs Sixth Form College where I gained my A Level’s in Media, Photography and English Language. I continued my interest in Media Studies by attending East Durham College to study for a Diploma and Extended Diploma in Media. I have attended other courses and volunteered for local community projects to help build up my skill sets.
I volunteered at Waverley Terrace Community Allotments which hosts the ‘Promoting Change, Transforming Lives’ project in Hartlepool and aims to provide access to horticultural placements, training, and therapeutic support for people with disability and learning difficulty or mental health problems.
• As part of the team I helped support and encourage other team members in taking part in the project so both they and I could gain from the experience of working in this project.
I believe my calm and approachable nature allowed other team members to feel at ease and allowed us to gain valuable team building skills.
Worked as an IT Assistant at Hartlepool Job Centre, assisting clients who were unfamiliar with IT Equipment and online forms.
• I found that a calm, friendly, approachable manner worked well with all age groups when dealing with people who were confused or frustrated with systems they had no prior experience with.
• I believe by trying to get to know the individuals and making them feel at ease helped both myself and the client complete their tasks in an efficient and timely manner with a greater degree of success.
