Anne (not her real name) was diagnosed with depression when she was 25, five years later she gave birth to her daughter. Depression, and postnatal depression particularly, can cause attachment issues between mother and child.

With one in ten women suffering with postnatal depression within a year of giving birth, Anne discusses her worries about pregnancy worsening her own depression, and the affects it might’ve had on her child.
